My name is Steve and it has been a long road getting here. This Weblog will be an informational journey for anyone who is looking for answers through the ‘word of God’.

I was raised a catholic and fell away from the church for a long time. I never stopped believing in God I just got side tracked. After chasing the American Dream through hard work in the corporate world for about twenty years, I had everything come crashing down around me.

My wonderful mother urged me to get to church. Through my desperation to get back on my feet, I went to the nearest church, about three doors down from mine. It was a Methodist church. I met the pastor and told him my story and he invited me to come to church that Sunday. As the Lord would have it, that Sunday was world communion day in the Methodist faith. I couldn’t believe it, but was excited that I could receive communion on the first day back to a mass. Afterwards, I went to the Pastor and asked if I could have a bible to begin reading on a daily basis.

The day before I was to leave my home for good, the Pastor rang my doorbell and presented me with a bible to have. He explained that he was waiting to give it to a student who was to enter the Seminary, but that I would understand this version much easier than any other version of the Bible out there. And to my amazement, it was everything and MORE. The Bible I was given is the TruthQuest Inductive Student Bible, the Holy Bible, New Living Translation (NLT). After returning to Christianity and reading the Bible again for the second time in my life, it is clear that the message of the Bible needs to reach everyone in the world to grow and enrich the Body of Christ Jesus.
