When Are We Going To Wake UP?

News & Media No Comments »

I am totally disturbed by the smoke that is coming from the mainstream media about the Muslim movement and the recognition it gets.

Why doesn’t our government alert us to what is REALLY happening?  I believe it is because of the mass hysteria that would take place. Maybe they want to leave it up to us as individuals to become informed on our own. I also believe that they don’t have a clue how to prepare us to deal with the situation and the Turbulent Times ahead.

Based on the enclosed articles below people: When Are WE Going To Wake UP?

Is this article enough to wake you up?
CIA Bomber Calls For Attacks On The US in Video

Or is this article enough to wake you up?
Hundreds of Al-Quada Militants Planning Attacks from Yemen

Or maybe this article will wake you up! I know it shocked the heck out of me which is why I posted it for YOU to know about.
Will America Be The Last Man Standing?

Are we awake yet? Then read this article!
Will The West Wake Up To The Threat Before It’s Too Late?

If you’re still with me here, this is the deafening wake up call that we should know about.
IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER URGES MUSLIMS TO MOBILIZE AGAINST U.S. AND ISRAEL TO PREPARE FOR MESSIAH’S ARRIVAL!

The evidence is clear, the realism is now. We Need to Wake UP! Get Involved with the Body of Christ, get saved… do what ever you have to do to get ready for the Coming Perfect Storm!

I pray that the Spirit moves you to get involved in spreading the Word of God to all you come in contact with as we know the Word teaches us. Salvation comes to those who find out the truth. It is our Christian duty to alert others to the truth about God and Jesus Christ at all times.

Warnings against False Teachers
1 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.2 These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.*
3 They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth.4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.5 For we know it is made acceptable* by the word of God and prayer.

Who Will You Serve For Eternity?

Christianity No Comments »

Outstanding Vision…  The content of this post comes from an email I got from another faithful Christian friend this past weekend.

Title: VISION - The GREAT SEPARATION
by Dianna de Valle
September 24, 2009

red-storm-clouds

‘”As I was in a quiet prayer time this morning The Lord began to show me a vision of a great pot that was being stirred. This large and very full pot was made of clear glass so that it was quite easy to see the contents inside. As the pot was being stirred the contents were churning and swirling wildly around and there was no definition or distinction whatsoever between any of the ingredients. Then, the stirring began to slow down and continued to slow until finally it stopped. As soon as it stopped, there began to be a faint line appear in the middle of the pot which quickly grew wider and wider and clearer and clearer. After every particle in the pot had ceased to move, there remained three pronounced sections. A top section and a bottom section with a very distinct middle section that was so crystal clear it looked like pure glass. There was absolutely not one single particle to be seen in that middle section. The ingredients of the pot had all very definitely either settled to the bottom or risen to the top.

As I began to ask the Lord about the meaning of this vision He told me the following:

Right now in all of creation, there is a great stirring going on. It is a stirring that will eventually affect every single ingredient in the pot and leave no ingredient untouched or unturned. Every particle WILL be stirred. This includes the government, the media, pop-culture and celebrity, the education system, the financial institutions and economy, the church and religion, and every single person’s individual life. Every single particle must be stirred because once the stirring is over then a great separation will begin to occur. At that moment each and every person will make a decision on where they stand in My Kingdom. That decision will determine whether they rise to the top where I am, or sink down to the depths of eternal pain, loss, and frustration. There has never been a separation this pronounced, and it will be such a defined separation that there will not be ANY question about it. For too long there has been no line and no separation and people have been able to be right in the middle and walk with one foot in both sides without having to really declare and determine where they stand. The stirring has begun so that there will no longer be a middle section. Everything is being forced to churn. Those who were on the bottom, those who were in the middle, and those who were at the top are being forced to churn so that in the end there will be only be two sides and each will choose whom they will serve and where they will stand for eternity.

As I have processed and meditated on this I have the following thoughts to share:

There are both good and bad sides to this of which we always knew were coming, but our complacency in the Body of Christ has kept us from fully grasping the scope of it all. The good news is that some who are steadfastly stuck in the darkness are going to be broken free in the churning and they will have a new opportunity to see the light and the truth and be made free! Those whom we have so earnestly prayed for who seemed hopelessly lost are now being churned!!! The bad news is that those who were in the middle and wanted to walk dangerously close to the line so as not to have to choose, are now being forcibly churned this way and that and will be faced with a decision.

So where does that leave us as the Body of Christ? Well, if we had a foundation built upon rock and not sand, and roots that were deeply and firmly planted, and a mind set upon the Spirit and not the flesh, then we don’t have to worry!!! Yes, we may experience the effects of some churning and shaking, but that is good for us sometimes, lest we get lazy and complacent and forget our Great Commission. But our firm roots and foundation will keep us securely fastened and able to withstand the wind and the waves. Once the hurricane is over, we will go outside and clean up the debris and press on!!!

The crucial thing that we must be aware of and focus on is that this stirring is a HUGE opportunity for us to affect eternity and build The Kingdom of God by saving souls. It is not enough for us to just make it to the top! As the pot is being stirred and we are swirling around we have an opportunity to reach out and grab those that we see flying by. That is the people that God puts in our path every day. Our purpose in being on this Earth can be boiled down to two things: The Great Commission of Mark 16:15 and the Great Commandment of Matthew 22:37-39. We must ask ourselves if the MAJORITY of our time and energy REALLY is (not just in theory - not just intending to be) being devoted to these two things. If not, then we are burying our talents (Luke 19)!!! We have each been given talents by God that SHOULD BE BEING USED for His purposes. Too often, we either bury them, or use them for our own gain. This has to stop. We must be found actively using our talents for building of The Kingdom through fulfilling the Great Commission and The Great Commandment. Otherwise, we will not be found by Him doing that which we are called to and will therefore not hear “Well done, my good and faithful servant”. We all have different gifts, callings and talents and we must prayerfully seek how God has intended those to be used in our individual lives AND THEN ACT UPON IT. We also must spend (waste) less time looking at everyone else’s gifts and talents and wishing we had them AND/OR spend less time thinking we know how everyone else should be using their talents while ours are conveniently buried! Let us be found bringing as many people as we can to the top with us, for that is what LOVE would do! God is Love and if we claim to be in Him with His Spirit then we also will be Love.”‘

Who will you serve for eternity?

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
James 1:22 NIV/NLT

Did You See the 9/11 Webcast?

News & Media 3 Comments »

inside_the_revolution

I want to make sure that all of my readers know about and have a chance to see the 9/11 Webcast that Joel Rosenberg had titled; Inside The Revolution, a view of the Islamic movement from the eyes of an Insider.

This was truly amazing and very informative with regards to understanding what is happening now, what we can expect to happen and how we should / need to react to what will happen.

Joel also explains how we can make a huge difference to the outcome of the events by reaching out to our Muslim brothers and sisters to help them know Christ Jesus.

I will not go into the details of this webcast since it would be too lengthy and unfair to Joel for all his work.  Fortunately for those of you who missed the broadcast, Joel’s team has archived the event for you to see at your convenience. It is just under two hours long, but I urge you all to watch it and get up to speed on this very very important topic.

The archived webcast is at: Inside The Revolution

God bless you all!

Today we can always hop on-line and get a plethora of information on any subject. But being able to tell the good from bad or the right from wrong isn’t always as easy as we might think.

The subject of this post is: What Encouraging Bible Verses Are Your Favorites? This question came from a reader of the Bible-Religion.com blog last week.

In all fairness I think  each one of us have different bible verses that encourage us.  However, I will share some of my favorite verses with all of you here, in no particular order of preference:

___________

If you are not keeping your own list of encouraging bible verses and would like to start one, perhaps you will be inspired by these favorite verses of the bible at the New Living Translation.com! This will allow you to view the collection of favorite verses by simply selecting a book from the bible to view a list of all the favorite verses from each book.

I will sometimes even take the verse and go to Biblegateway.com and look it up in multiple versions, up to five at a time, that can give me a different perspective on the verse I am interested in.

Can You Defeat Your Own Giant?

Religion No Comments »

One day a soldier, charged with fleeing from the enemy was brought before Alexander the Great. Alexander asked him, “What is your name?” Dropping his head, he replied, “Alexander.” Alexander the Great grabbed him by the shoulders and said, “Soldier, change your conduct or change your name! ” You have been called to live a life worthy of the One whose name you carry.

Regardless of whether the giant you face is addiction, resentment, fear, lust, pride, envy or anger, you must realize:
1. You are not unique. Your temptations “are no different from what others experience” (1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT). Goliath wasn’t always a giant; he was fed and nurtured until he became one.

Our giants are usually little sins we overlook and indulge in until they assume a life of their own and come back and haunt us.
2. You cannot do it alone. Your giant will defeat you anytime you try to tackle him in your own strength. David told Goliath, “This is the Lord’s battle, and He will give you to us” (1 Samuel 17:47 NLT). We need divine help if we are to overcome old habits and establish new habits of behavior.

So, declare with the Apostle Paul, “Christ…gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13 NLT).
3. You confront your giant head-on. The Bible says: “As Goliath moved to attack, David quickly ran…to meet him” (1 Samuel 17:48 NLT). Don’t run away, don’t try to negotiate, don’t compromise and don’t excuse.

Force your giant out into the light and don’t let him back into your life. Establish boundaries and make yourself accountable. Stay out of the wrong company. Above all, don’t look at God in the light of your giant, look at your giant in the light of God.

Can you defeat your own giant?

Are You Broken Inside? Part 1

Religion 4 Comments »

in a world that celebrates success, we don’t see the value in broken things. But God brings beauty out of brokenness. For a plant to rise from the soil the seed must be broken. For a baby chick to experience larger life  the shell must be broken. Even a thoroughbred horse must be broken; it must learn to respond to the tug of the rein and the sound of the master’s voice. Getting the idea? After a humbling encounter with Christ on the Damascus Road, Paul reevaluates all the religious activity he once boasted about and calls it “garbage” (Philippians 3:8, NLT). And you don’t brag about garbage, your repulsed by it.

Brokeness is the work of God by which He strips us of self-sufficiency so that the character of Christ may shine through us. Now don’t miss understand; being broken doesn’t necessarily mean experiencing some tragedy. Many people suffer tragedy without drawing closer to God or even acknowledge Him. Indeed, the same sunshine that melts the butter hardens the clay. The issue in brokeness is not so much our circumstances, but our response. Take me for example, (About) when I was broken and at the depths of despair and not wanting to go on, I chose to get God in my heart again and to leave everything up to him. So what is God trying to teaching us? True brokeness is when he strips us of self-sufficiency to the extent that we have no strength left to fix ourselves. When God blocks every exit we try to take and we come to see that He alone is our answer, we make a life changing discovery. “And what’s that?” you ask. When God is all you have — God is all you need! Bottom line; God’s power is reserved for those who have given up trying to do it in their own strength or to accomplish it for their own means!

paul writes: “Now may…God…sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NAS/NLT). The word “sanctify” means to be “set apart,” to be used exclusively for God’s purposes. Paul describes it as “the high calling of God” (Philippians 3:14 KJV/NLT). And it happens from the inside out! Notice, our fleshly body comes last in order of transformation for a very simple reason. The problem with a thief isn’t his hands, it’s in his mind or spirit, which tells him stealing is okay. His mind tells his hands what to do. So if you transform his spirit his hands will follow suit. Otherwise you can handcuff him and haul him off to jail, but he’s still a thief inside. Too many of us want to get victory over bodily sins without being truly transformed within. But God starts with our spirit because that’s the part of our being that makes us conscious of God; that “connects” with Him. When God sets us free in our spirit, then our emotions and our body begin to fall in line.

If you’re a parent you know how differently your children respond to discipline. One child will collapse in tears, whereas another will stand up and defy you. God will do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to break us of our self-sufficiency so that the life of Jesus can be demonstrated through us. And… we determine how long the process takes, by our submission or resistance.

Paul prayed, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” (Acts 9:6 NKJV/NLT). Make that your prayer today!
